Renwick Sports Physiotherapy and Orthopaedic Centre is very proud to be associated with a number of professional experts in their respective fields. We encourage referral between professions to ensure the best possible management for our valued clients. This page has been created to provide the associated colleagues with valuable information in assisting this objective. We are a local sports and general physiotherapy practice with considerable experience in musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment, functional training in sporting and work related injuries and  post operative rehabilitation.

Medical Specialists and General Practitioners

If you have a patient who needs be seen urgently, please call to speak with our physiotherapist who will be more than happy to schedule a patient with high priority or after hours if necessary.
We work with medical specialists and general practitioners throughout Sydney, including orthopaedic surgeons, neuro surgeons and sports physicians. We provide:

1. Referral pads which can be requested by calling 02 95646463 or by emailing us through the contact page of this website.
2. Drs Fax Back referred by general practitioners (and medical specialists on request).
3. Progress Drs Fax Back referred by medical specialists and general practitioners. This is sent prior to your follow-up appointment with the patient.
4. Priority response to any request for additional information made by a referring Dr.
5. All information is provided in accordance with the Privacy Act legislation.

Personal Trainers

Our philosophy is to encourage an active versus passive treatment approach in line with the research as this has been shown to achieve quicker and more sustainable rates of recovery. We can assist your clients in preventing a minor injury becoming a major one by:

1. Assessing any bio-mechanical inadequacies and muscle imbalances.
2. Providing treatment to reduce pain and speed-up recovery.
3. Supporting them with advice to prevent further injuries and encouragement to continue with your exercise program with suggested modifications.

We provide:

2. We are happy to provide information regarding your client’s condition but will require their written approval due to the Privacy Act legislation

Massage Therapists

Massage Therapy is critical to the prevention and recovery of musculo-skeletal dysfunction and injury. Renwick Physiotherapy encourages a co-existence of the 2 professions in maximising patient outcomes.
